3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with third parties only as described below:
3.1 Service Providers
We use the following categories of service providers to operate the Service:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, cloud database, and push notification delivery. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Market Data Providers: CoinGlass, CoinGecko, and similar APIs to provide real-time cryptocurrency market data, whale tracking, and liquidation information. These providers receive API requests from our servers — they do not receive your personal data.
- Blockchain Data Providers: Moralis, Helius, and Blockchair to retrieve publicly available on-chain data for wallet addresses you provide. Only the public wallet address is sent — no personal identifiers are attached.
- Hosting & Infrastructure: Cloud hosting providers for server infrastructure and data storage.
3.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Market Mirror, our users, or the public.
3.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will provide notice before your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Blockchain & Wallet Data
Market Mirror provides portfolio tracking by reading publicly available blockchain data. Important disclosures:
- All blockchain data we access is already publicly available on the respective blockchain networks.
- We only process the public wallet addresses you voluntarily provide.
- We do not have access to, and never request, your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords.
- We do not execute, facilitate, or broker any cryptocurrency transactions.
- We are a data visualization and analytics tool — not a wallet, exchange, or financial custodian.
- Wallet balance and transaction data is cached temporarily on our servers to improve performance and reduce API calls. This cached data is automatically purged on a regular basis.
5. Data Storage & Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
- JWT-based authentication with secure token handling
- Rate limiting and CORS restrictions on API endpoints
- Content Security Policy (CSP) headers to prevent injection attacks
- Input sanitization and parameterized database queries
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specific retention periods:
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account.
- Community content: Retained until you delete it or your account is deleted.
- Cached wallet data: Automatically purged within 24 hours.
